Driver Safe Passport

• This is a 5 hour training programme about keeping the driver safe, while out of the cab.
• Driversafe is the road transport industry's generic health and safety induction training programme.
• Hazard management is the most important element of a health and safety system, therefore it is important that everyone is involved.
• The programme explains how you can effectively manage general and common hazards in a road freight transport industry (ie. Out of cab hazards) and complies with the Health and Safety employment act (1992).
• On successful completion of this course and completing the competency assessment you will be issued with a personalized Driversafe Passport. This is recognized within industry and accepted on other safety-assured worksites.
• It is recommended that all Drivers complete this course as part of their OSH induction programme.
