OSH Forklift Certification & F Endorsement
OSH, Forklift Course
This one day course consists of a Practical assessment on a Forklift plus NZQA unit standard based theory training.
- This course is ideal for beginners as well as more experienced operators.
- Additional 1-1 training is available for beginners who require extra practice.
- You have the choice of completing OSH course only or OSH and F Endorsement concurrently.
- This course covers areas such as Operator safety, Critical safety factors, load capacity, safe operation of a forklift, Forklift terminology, stacking and destacking, responsibilities, vehicle maintenance and practical assessment testing a variety of skills.
- If your Forklift has a Gross Laden Weight of more than 18,000kg you must obtain a Class 2 Licence.
- You will be required to complete a pre-learn assessment prior to completing our course.
F Endorsement Course
You may complete the F endorsement assessment of unit standard 18496 on its own if you have a valid OSH competency certificate or in conjunction with our OSH Forklift Certificate.
To obtain your F Endorsement you must hold a Full Class 1 licence.
You must have an F Endorsement if you operate a forklift on a road.
A Road as defined in the Transport Act 1998 is:
- A Street
- A Motorway
- A Beach
- All Bridges, Culverts, Ferries, Fiords, that form part of a road or street or motorway.
- All sites at which vehicles are weighed for the purposes of this act or any other enactment.
- A place to which the public can gain unrestricted access whether there as of right or not.
